دعا عدد من نجوم السينما العالمية المشاركين في حفل توزيع جوائز الأوسكار السنوي الـ96 الذي أقيم في مسرح دولبي التاريخي في مدينة لوس أنجلوس بولاية كاليفورنيا، إلى وقف الحرب على غزة.
وأعلنوا تضامنهم بطرق مختلفة مع غزة، ووجهوا العديد من الرسائل التضامنية التي تطالب بوقف العنف والحرب.
وارتدى عدد من النجوم الدبابيس باللون الأحمر والتي تحمل شعار حملة إيقاف الحرب على غزة، ومنهم المغنية العالمية بيلي إيليش صاحبة أغنية ?What Was I Made For، والمخرجة آفا دوفيرناي، ونجم فيلم Poor Things مارك روفالو،
والمخرجة التونسية كوثر بن هنية والمخرج ميسان هاريمان وعدد آخر من النجوم وصناع الأفلام، والنجم العالمي ذو الأصول المصرية رامي يوسف كما فاجأ مخرج فيلم “the zone of interest” الحضور بإلقاء كلمة على المسرح بعد استلام جائزته طالب بها بإيقاف الحرب في غزة.
وقال النجم يوسف خلال مقابلة على السجادة الحمراء: “ندعو جميعا إلى وقف فوري ودائم لإطلاق النار في غزة”.
وأضاف: “نريد حقًا العدالة والسلام الدائمين للشعب الفلسطيني”.
وتابع “نريد حقاً أن نقول، دعونا نتوقف عن قتل الأطفال. هناك الكثير مما يجب معالجته، ويبدو أن أسهل طريقة لإجراء المحادثات التي يريد الناس إجراؤها هي عندما لا تكون تحت حملة قصف جارية”.
وانطلقت مظاهرة احتجاجية للتضامن مع غزة خارج حفل توزيع جوائز الأوسكار، عرقلوا خلالها حركة السير أمام مسرح دولبي في هوليوود بكاليفورنيا.
ورفع المتظاهرون الأعلام الفلسطينية، وهتفوا بالعبارات التضامنية مع فلسطين، لا سيما المنددة بفرض الحصار على سكان قطاع غزة.
وكان أكثر من 400 نجم ونجمة انضموا إلى حملة “فنانون من أجل وقف إطلاق النار” التي نشرت في أواخر أكتوبر/تشرين الأول الماضي رسالة تحث الكونغرس الأميركي والرئيس الأميركي جو بايدن على الدعوة إلى وقف فوري للحرب على غزة.
ومن بين النجوم الآخرين الذين وقعوا على الرسالة كيت بلانشيت، وبن أفليك، وجينيفر لوبيز، وبرادلي كوبر، وآني لينوكس، وأمريكا فيريرا.
